Lukas is a Visual Effects and Virtual Production Supervisor/Producer who studied 3D Animation & Visual Effects at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He has worked on numerous major feature films, including Transformers, Rock of Ages, Ender’s Game, The Watch, Jurassic Park, The Smurfs, Silver Linings Playbook, and 47 Ronin. He is also an experienced live events creative and expert video engineer who has worked on concerts, festivals and tours. For the past 15 years, Lukas has been working with companies at the forefront of VFX, virtual production, broadcasting, and live events, including Digital Domain, Stereo D, Cox Media, PRG (Production Resources Service), MouseTrappe, Technomedia, Mandrake Studios, and xRStage.
More recently, his professional focus has been on honing his virtual production expertise. Working with teams of engineers and programmers, he has specialised as a virtual production supervisor and producer focusing on utilizing Unreal Engine and Disguise. He draws on his extensive 3D Animation/VFX knowledge to manage all aspects of virtual production on set, including look development, color grading, Unreal Engine environment creation/optimization for virtual production using nDisplay, xR set extension with Disguise media servers, camera/objects/hybrid tracking systems, motion capture, LED walls and processors, facial tracking, and MetaHuman.
As a 3D Animator and VFX veteran, he has had the privilege of working on amazing feature films, permanent installations, commercials, theme parks, and live events around the world.

His extensive experience using Unreal Engine equips him with the ability to guide the production team and technical department to seamlessly merge practical assets and lights with the virtual environment world from Unreal Engine to create a superior composition that directors look for on camera.
