Overview

Working for Kat Von D, Mandrake Studios was responsible for engineering, pre-visualization, design, programming, content creation and running the live event on this big night at the iconic Saint Vibiana Cathedral located in downtown Los Angeles. We used ten 30k Barco projectors for projection mapping across the entirety of the interior ceiling of the cathedral and to run Real-Time content using Notch, combined with render content created in After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Nuke. A Disguise 4x4 media server was used to integrate a highly successful event.
